Corbett National Park is located close to Ramnagar city of Uttarakhand state.
Corbett National Park was the first national park started in 1936 as Hailey National Park. It was renamed in 1956 as Corbett National Park in honour of Jim Corbett, a hunter-turned-naturalist who played a crucial role in it's establishment.
Area: Corbett Tiger Reserve now includes Corbett National Park, Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary and Kalagarh Tiger Reserve covering a total area of 1288 sq. km with an elevation range of 1300 to 4000 ft.
Flora & Fauna: Home to 617 plants, 50 mammals, 580 bird species, and 25 reptile species.
Landscape: High density of Sal trees (40%) density in between, Hill Forest with Sal, Asan Saj, Kumbhi, Chironji trees and Riverine forests are also found in the floodplains and along the rivers. Also some mixed hardwood forest with trees like Sal, Silk cotton tree, Rohini, Haldu and Sisham. CTR also have huge area of grasslands like Huge tall grasslands, open grasslands and wooded grasslands

From Safari to Stay

Gypsy Safari

Nothing can beat the thrill of exploring the jungle in 4x4 gypsy. Maximum of 6 people (and 1 child below 5yr) can be accommodated in One gypsy.

Canter Safari

Canter safari is available only in Dhikala (core) zone of CTR. A minibus with 16seats takes you to the heart of Corbett to witness the wonderful jungle.
